Bridget was born on December 19, 2008 and is a beautiful little girl, full of life, energy and love. She is surrounded by loving parents, grandparents and lots of family and friends. Bridget was diagnosed with B-cell Leukemia on September 29. Her treatment will consist of chemotherapy for the next two years. Her chemo treatments are made up of 4 different chemo drugs that are delivered 3 different ways: through a port, injected into her leg and injected in her spinal column. In addition to her chemo treatments, she will undergo numerous bone marrow biopsies and spinal taps as well as several blood tests.
Bridget and her entire family are traveling down a path no one would choose for their precious child. As they endure this trial, prayers for strength, healing, wisdom and guidance are needed. God is able to provide sufficient grace for this journey, for "when we are weak, He is strong." You are encouraged to keep Bridget and her family lifted up daily in prayer.
